Detox

The word detox may not be used in modern medicine, but the German word “Entschlackung” (detoxifying) is widely used in Germany. Detox refers to the elimination of residual substances resulting from metabolic changes. Detoxification can be achieved through fasting, sweating cures, herbal teas and tinctures, but the most effective treatment is a comprehensive detoxification program administered by a trained physician. Modern medicine often argues that detoxification is not necessary because the liver and kidneys already cleanse the body of waste.

As for the difference between poisons and toxins, poisons directly and actively cause harm, whereas toxins refer to the concentration of residual substances produced during metabolic exchanges. When toxins are stored in the body, they can cause various problems. The accumulation of toxins in the connective tissue is particularly important, and modern medicine often pays insufficient attention to this issue. However, the effectiveness of connective tissue has been proven by scientific studies by Pischinger and Heine.

Toxins accumulated in the body, combined with factors such as unhealthy diet, stress, smoking, alcohol and chemical drugs acidify the body. In this case, detoxification methods such as healthy nutrition, health fasting, neural therapy, alkaline water, colon hydrotherapy should be applied.

Toxin accumulation in the connective tissue can cause many health problems such as rheumatism, gout, inflammatory diseases and arteriosclerosis. Detox programs may be needed to remove these toxins. In addition, measures such as proper nutrition, reducing animal foods, reducing black tea and coffee consumption should also be taken.

It is important to remember that detox programs not only detoxify the body, but also strengthen the immune system and are an important complement to healthy living. However, the complexity and scope of these programs should be implemented by a specialized dietitian or physician, as they involve many factors, including specialized approaches such as neural therapy.
